Who We Are?


Library OUTReach is created by a group of library professionals who are passionate about improving library services for all! Library OUTReach is a podcast dedicated to the LGBTQIA+ community, and we are committed to sharing uplifting stories related to the information profession while also shedding light on the emerging challenges within the field.




Meet The Host Courtney: Courtney is a librarian, student, and co conspirator! She is interested in learning and sharing ways to assist the LGBTQIA+ community

Meet Correspondent Gracen: Gracen is a librarian and student who is passionate about community outreach and engagement!

Meet Correspondent Maya: Maya, our community liaison, has several years experience assisting in the development of policies which aim to encourage LGBTQIA+ confidence in information institutions.

Meet Contributor Bernadette: Bernadette, is a research analysis who advocates for the voices of the LGBTQIA+ community to be heard through public engagement

Meet Contributor Gabriel: Our Co-Producer, Gabriel, is an archivist and writer commited to fostering safe-spaces for LGBTQIA+ members and their allies.

Terms In this episode we discussed terms for the LGBTQIA+ Community.
